Monday, 6:30pm: A World of Stories and a Drum… But wait, have you flown by broom stick? Have you traveled on the back of a giant? Have you crossed continents in Five League Boots, or whole countries on a flying carpet? This is truly traveling the world in style, so why not travel with British award winning storyteller Simon Brooks (and his bodhran) to places far away in a different time and space? Tuesday, 3pm: Philippines Story Time. Marie Fe Simmons presents the Philippines! Stories, songs, dances, language, and more. Come in for a fun look at an unusual country. Wednesday at 6pm: Pajama Story Time. Wear your jammies and bring a stuffed buddy for story time! We'll do things opposite of the usual order--craft FIRST, then stories to wind down. This is a drop-in story time for all ages. P.S. Shoes are REQUIRED--Sorry, it's public health code.
Thursday, 1-5pm: Moroccoan Cookies. Make Moroccan cookies with Rajae Taib. While they bake listen to a story and see a traditional Moroccan outfit! Please call or email to sign up to ensure enough materials for all the children: 474-2044, lmichaud@sealib.org
Friday at 11am: Jenn's Stories. Jenn from TDBank is back with more stories and puppet shows! She'll read or do a show and then you'll get to make a craft to take home. This is an all ages drop in story time.
3:30pm: Movie Time. This short movie is the real story of a family in another country! We'll be in the story time room, but don't worry; there will still be popcorn :)
