Yesterday we did Sink or Float--this coming week, it'll be Water Relay Races...Monday, July 19, 4pm: Monday Movies! This week's feature is "Lilo and Stitch"--'A lonely little girl makes a very unusual friend -- a ukulele-playing alien who likes to toss around small automobiles'. Set in Hawaii, there's plenty of water and good music :)
Tuesday, July 20, 10am: Families First Parent Recharge. Kick back, get involved in relaxing activities, and recharge your parenting battery. Child care is free for ages 12 and under--advance signup required--and refreshments included. Call 422-8208 x2
4pm: Water Relay Races! Find out how much different types of sponges and containers will hold, then race to fill various containers.
Wednesday, July 21, 3:30pm: Author Jennifer Ericsson visits us! She is author or co-author of 14 books, and she'll be here for a story time and question and answer. She’ll read some of her picture books and tell us a little about herself. Then she will answer any questions you want to ask about her books, about being an author or about writing.
6pm: Pajama Story Time! Wear your jammies and bring your stuffed animal--we'll start with a craft, then wind down with stories and songs.
Thursday, July 22, 11am: Jenn's Stories. Jenn will be reading to us about bunnies this week and has a very cute craft planned!
1-5pm: Drop In Craft--Squirt Gun Artwork! I will have squirt guns filled with various colors of paint. Large pieces of paper will be hung for you to aim your artistic talents at; we'll see if anyone creates a "hit" :)
Don't forget to sign up for the Summer Reading Program if you haven't already--the later you start, the harder you'll need to work to earn your Topsfield Fair or Water Country tickets! If you have signed up, don't forget to check in each week--there's a t-shirt to be won EVERY week.
