Thank you!
On behalf of the Seabrook Library, I would like to
thank those who made our summer reading program a success. Since I am the sole children’s librarian, it
is only the generosity of all of these people and companies that has made a
reality out of my plans.
Many companies or organizations made donations: Seabrook Station, our most faithful and
generous supporter, sponsored our wildly successful Eyes on Owls program. Bob’s Discount Furniture has assisted us
financially for several years now.
Topsfield Fair provided prizes and a Growums project, as they have for
the past couple of years. Leo’s Super
Bowl and the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center provided free passes for prizes
for our readers. That’s Very Fun
provided a beautiful cake for our Kickoff Party. TD
Bank sent a volunteer, Debra Robinson, every week to provide a story time. The NH Astronomical Society sent three
astronomers and their telescopes for a Skywatch.
The individuals who graciously offered to help,
either in advance or on the spot, include Laura Litcofsky, Julie Robidoux, Brandie
Gaffney, Gina McGinness, Sheryl Peabody, Mikki Phillips, Leah O’Hara, Jennifer
Price, Debbie Simonelli, Julie Emond, Rick Dumont, Catherine Evans, Anna Evans
and Bobby Evans, Barbara Shea and I know there were more.
Thank you all; I appreciate your help more than I
can say.
Lisa Michaud, Children’s Librarian.

July 30-August 2 for Kids
If you can only pick one thing this week, please make it the Final Party with Judy Pancoast!
Monday, July 30 at 7:30pm: Skywatch with the NH Astronomical Society. If you've attended their other programs, you know just how cool this is. We'll meet in the Meeting Room to hear what can be seen in the sky right now, then we'll go out to where the telescopes are waiting!Tuesday, July 31 at 4:00pm: Stuffed Animal Sleepover! Bring your second-favorite stuffed friend over for a story, then make them a nametag and tuck them in for a night at the library :) They can be picked up on Wednesday, Aug. 1 after noon. They'll have a little book of their adventures.
Wednesday, August 1 at 6pm: PJ Story Time. This is it--the very last one! Wear your jammies and bring (or pick up!) your stuffed friend for one last round of stories, songs and craft/activity.
READING LOGS ARE DUE WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1 AT 7:30PM!
If you wait past this point, I cannot guarantee you will be entered for the prize drawings.
You will still receive the ones you have earned (a book, Topsfield Fair pass).
Thursday, August 2 at 3:30pm: Final Party with Judy Pancoast! Enjoy Grammy-nominated musician Judy Pancoast and pick up your prizes, enjoy treats, see who won passes to the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center and Leo's Super Bowl, and who gets to sleep over at the library!
