James and Sal's mom died. James' dad got a job at the Minerva Hall. James' dad would not listen so the Minerva hall boss fires the dad.
Would you be friends with the main character? Yes because he does lots of fun stuff.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Yes because it's a good book and it is exciting.
